Putting “Trusted” In Your Name Doesn’t Make It So

This piece made me laugh very hard:

While it may run an advertising campaign based on half truths trashing everything PC (and thus indirectly Microsoft) – Apple has been forced to concede one thing: Microsoft Office.
This week Apple confirmed it is ditching its long running rival productivity suite ‘AppleWorks’ after badly losing out to Microsoft’s offering. AppleWorks had not been updated in three years and the news comes just nine days after it announced partial successor iWork ’08.

Could this be because AppleWorks is a software from the stone age that still runs on punchcards while iWork has now been upgraded to be a full-blown office suite that already does everything you could possibly want and then some more? Nah…
